Optimalisasi Patroli Sat Lantas Polres Bangka Guna Meminimalisir Terjadinya Pelanggaran Dan Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas

Abstrak

The increase in mobility and the number of vehicles on the roads poses significant challenges related to the rise in traffic violations and accidents. This study aims to optimize the patrols of the Traffic Unit (Sat Lantas) of the Bangka Police to minimize the occurrence of traffic violations and accidents. The research method involves analyzing historical data on accidents, violations, and traffic patterns, as well as conducting interviews with Sat Lantas personnel. The findings reveal certain patterns in traffic accidents and violations within the area. By implementing smarter patrol strategies, including the use of advanced technologies such as sensor-based traffic monitoring systems and predictive analysis, Sat Lantas can enhance the effectiveness of their patrols. Additionally, training personnel in social interaction skills and conflict management can improve relations between traffic police and the community, which may assist in preventing violations. The results of this study are expected to provide practical guidance for the Sat Lantas of Bangka Police in developing more effective and efficient patrol strategies. Thus, a decrease in the rate of traffic violations and accidents, as well as an overall improvement in road safety in the region, is anticipated.
