Author Fees

Jurnal Legalitas (JLE) applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) to support the editorial, peer-review, production, publication, and dissemination processes of accepted articles.

Submission Fee

There is no submission fee. Authors may submit manuscripts to Jurnal Legalitas free of charge.

Publication Fee

A publication fee of  IDR 1,000,000 (one million rupiah) per accepted article is charged only after the manuscript has successfully completed the editorial and peer-review process and has been formally declared eligible for publication.

Payment of the APC is not a consideration in the editorial or peer-review decision. Manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their academic quality, originality, relevance, methodological rigor, and contribution to legal scholarship.

Payment Terms

1. Authors are not required to make any payment at the submission or review stage.
2. Payment is requested only after the editor has issued a final decision that the manuscript is accepted or eligible for publication.
3. The journal will provide official payment instructions to the corresponding author.
4. Authors should complete payment within the period specified in the official payment notification.
5. No additional publication fee will be charged beyond the stated APC unless expressly communicated and agreed upon by the journal.
6. Payment of the APC does not guarantee acceptance, and manuscripts that do not satisfy the journal's academic and editorial requirements will not be published.
7. The APC covers publication-related services, including editorial management, peer-review administration, copyediting, layout, online publication, archiving, and dissemination of the article.

Commitment to Editorial Independence

Jurnal Legalitas maintains a strict separation between editorial decisions and financial considerations. The payment of an APC is an administrative requirement following a positive publication decision and does not influence the outcome of peer review or the editorial assessment of a manuscript.

This policy is intended to ensure that the journal's publication process remains transparent, academically independent, and focused on maintaining the quality and integrity of published legal scholarship.
