Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji kenakalan remaja di era digital dengan menempatkan media sosial sebagai ruang sosial pembentukan identitas sekaligus arena normalisasi perilaku menyimpang. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-analitis dalam perspektif sosiologi-kriminologi, penelitian menganalisis interaksi simbolik remaja, peran kelompok sebaya daring, serta pengaruh algoritma media sosial terhadap pelemahan kontrol sosial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa validasi sosial melalui komentar, tanda suka, dan berbagi mendorong pergeseran makna deviasi menjadi ekspresi diri yang diterima. Kelompok sebaya daring berfungsi sebagai agen sosialisasi alternatif yang melegitimasi perilaku menyimpang, sementara algoritma memperkuat paparan berulang dan membentuk ruang gema. Pada saat yang sama, kontrol sosial informal dan formal mengalami keterbatasan menjangkau ruang digital. Studi ini menegaskan bahwa kenakalan remaja digital merupakan hasil interaksi antara struktur teknologi dan proses sosial, bukan semata pilihan individual.
